New This summer - back to school barn days!
Join us for one, two, or three days before heading back to school
We will be offering 3 individual Barn Days on August 4th, 5th, and/or 6th (M/T/W) - get one, two, or three last days in the barn before heading back to school!
Ages 4-12
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
$100 per attendant per day
(Do not have to attend all of the days to participate)
$275 if you sign up for all three days!
Each day will include (but not limited to):
-Riding
-Games and Crafts
-Horse Handling and Safety
-Hands on Equine experiences
-FUN
Sign up for Back To School Barn Days on the Summer Horsemanship Program or Tiny Tot registration form linked above.
You do not have to be attending one of our multi-day sessions or have previous experience to participate!
What to Bring
Riders are required to wear long pants and hard flat-soled boots with 1 inch or less heel while riding and grooming/tacking. Paddock Boots are preferred.
A change of clothes (shorts, sneakers, etc.) may be packed for riders to change into while participating in unmounted activities.
Helmets are required while riders are mounted. To limit shared items, it is suggested that each rider provide their own ASTM/SEI Certified Riding Helmet. Helmets are available to rent from CCEC for $10/day if the participant is unable to provide their own. Helmets are disinfected and sprayed for headlice after every use.

Please be sure to apply sun protection and pack a lunch and refillable water bottle for your rider.
Additional Information
CCEC Horsemanship Programs are a great way to introduce your horse enthusiast to the world of riding, or allow your current rider extra time in the barn. Our Tiny Tot Horsemanship Programs are geared towards younger riders (ages 4-7), while our Summer Horsemanship Sessions are directed towards ages 8 - 12.
In our Horsemanship programs, Riders will receive at least one formal riding lesson per day, as well as learn about proper safety around horses. Riders will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare their horse to ride through grooming and tacking as well as basic horse care. To keep the learning fun, Riders will also participate in horse-related crafts and games. On Friday, Riders get to show off what they have been learning to family and friends in a Riding Showcase!
All of our Programs are Drop Off/Pick Up only.

Tiny Tot Session I & II
$275/3 days (Session 1 Wednesday-Friday, Session 2 Monday-Wednesday )
Summer Horsemanship Program I, II, & III
$475/5 days (Monday-Friday)
To secure a spot in any of our Summer Horsemanship Programs, a $50 non-refundable deposit (Payable by credit card** , Cash, or Check made payable to Cape Cod Equestrian Center) as well as completed Registration Forms and Liability Waiver must be submitted.
**A 3% fee is applied to all credit card payments. Credit card payments can only be submitted through our online pay links or online store. CCEC does not accept credit card payments in person**
