Erin Boggs

Erin Boggs is the Owner, Trainer, and Show Team Instructor at Cape Cod Equestrian Center.  An accomplished horsewoman in her own right, she is a nine-time World's Champion in both performance and equitation.  Some of her most memorable rides were on CH To Die For and Callaway's Hot Copy.

Erin is well known for her ability to equitate, polish, and finish a horse.  One of her specialties lies in the ability to prepare and pair horse and rider.  Erin has developed numerous World and National Champion titled and People's Choice riders and horses over the years.

Erin has been involved with the Saddleseat World Cup Program since the very beginning.  She served as the Captain of the Gold Medal Winning United States World Cup Team in 1996.  Since then, many of her riders have gone on to earn coveted spots on World Cup Teams over the years.

In 2014, Erin was honored with the award of UPHA Young Trainer of the Year and in 2015 she was voted Horse World People's Choice Instructor of the Year.

Erin Instructs all of our Show Team riders.  Our show team travels Nationally for competition.


Elise Hagenow

Elise Hagenow is the head instructor of our Riding Academy.  Elise has been riding and showing American Saddlebreds and Morgans for over 25 years.  Elise graduated from William Woods University in 2008 with a degree in Equestrian Science and was one of four recipients of the Vonderschmitt Scholarship her Sophomore through Senior years at WWU.  After graduating from college, she ran a successful riding program in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Later on, she began and built a riding program in Simpsonville, Kentucky.  Many of Elise's students have gone on to compete at a National and World Level. 

Hannah Cooper

Hannah recently joined our team at CCEC and is traveling from her home in West Virginia to help operate our thriving Riding Academy on Sundays and Mondays.  Hannah will also be essential in the marketing of our lesson program, as well as taking our camps and youth club to the next level.  Hannah has over 13 years experience as a riding instructor, and we are so excited to welcome her to team CCEC!

Angie Boyle

Angie is the current office manager at Cape Cod Equestrian Center, but can also often be found helping with lessons and coaching both Select Academy Team as well as Show Team at home as well as at horse shows.  

Emma Bohaboy

Emma has ridden at Cape Cod for her entire riding career.  She competed on the Select Academy Team from 2011-2014, and began competing with the Show Team in 2015.  Emma showed her Morgan Hylee's Lock N Load in Equitation.  Emma's biggest accomplishment is winning the Pleasure Equitation Senior Championship in 2016 and 2017 at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show.  Her favorite part about teaching is helping riders gain skills and confidence in their riding.  She believes the key to success in riding lessons is love for horses and a positive attitude.  Emma is a current student at the Univeristy of Dayton, and returns home  to CCEC every Sunday to teach our students.  

Maddie Hale

Maddie Hale has ridden at Cape Cod Equestrian Center for over 10 years.  She competed on the Select Academy Team from 2011-2012, and began competing with show team that same year.   Maddie showed in Country Pleasure with her horse Undulata's Blue Light Special.  Maddie's proudest accomplishment is making the Top 3 at the World's Championship Horse Show for two years in a row.  She loves to teach riders of all ages and enjoys helping them find their confidence.  She believes the most important thing to bring to your lesson is a positive attitude and good work ethic.  Maddie is a member of the OU Equestrian Team.  

Amy Baisden

Amy began her riding career at Cape Cod Equestrian Center, and was a member of the Select Academy Team from 2012-2013, until moving to the Show Team in 2014.  Amy has a special bond with our beloved lesson horse, Gatsby.  Gatsby is one of the most challenging of CCEC's lesson horses, but Amy adores him and rides him with ease and confidence.  Amy has learned from experience the importance of hard work and dedication.  She believes that if you can bring an open mind and a passion for learning you can achieve anything!
