At CCEC, We Aim To Create More Than Just Horseback Riders

Junior Staff

Our Junior Staff Members assist our riding instructors in the in-and-outs of our Riding Academy.  From preparing lesson horses, to greeting new clients, to assisting with lessons, they do it all!


Certified Junior Staff Members have the opportunity to earn extra riding time!  For Every 25 hours of assisting (Not including on horse time) Junior staff members earn 1 Group Lesson. 

Certification

Junior Staff Members are students 11 years and older.  In order to become a Jr Staff Member, students must become certified.  The certification process involves a hands on and written test on Grooming and Tacking, Safety, Etiquette, and Instruction.

Training Days

For our Younger and Newer students (Or anyone who wants to learn about horses!), we offer Training  Days.  Our Goal at CCEC is to create independent and capable equestrians.  Training days are a great way for our Riding Academy students and all horse lovers to get more time in the barn and gain hands on experience with horses beyond riding.  Join us for Training Days to pave the way to becoming a Junior Staff member!


Training Day Dates and Themes

Times: 1:00 - 3:00 PM Price: $50 per person

  • Training Days are open to children ages 4 -17 and will be split into age groups 4-7 and 8-12, and 13-17.
  • Training days are open to all!  No experience necessary, and non-students are welcome!  If you are not a current student, please be sure to complete our Horsemanship Program waivers prior to attending.
  • No Deposit required - Cash/Check Payment is collected at the time of the event, or an invoice will be emailed to the email address listed on your registration for credit card payment.
